Save As

Saves the current 3D Studio MAX scene under a different filename.

3D Studio MAX allows you to incrementally number saved files and to make automatic backup files at specified time intervals. The options to set up Increment on Save and Backup on Save are in the Files panel of the Preferences dialog.

How To

To save a file to a different name

1. Choose File/Save As.
2. Do either of the following:
• Enter a name in the File Name field.
• Click the Increment button.
