Value Display

Displays the value (position in space) of the selected key. This is an editable field. You can enter a new number or expression to change the value.

Using Expressions in the Time and Value Fields

You can type any expression into the time and value type-in fields of Track View. The variable 'n' is predefined to stand for the key time or value. The expressions can be as complex as you want and can involve any function the expression controller uses. For example you could have an expression like: n/2+sin(n)*40^n.

• The expression parsing in the time field works only when the time display mode is set to frames. The expression parser doesn't understand SMPTE or Frame:Ticks.

To add 10 to each key value:

1. 1 Type n+10 in the Key Time field.

10 is added to each key time.
