Highlights of Amiga Active CD 25
Here are a few highlights of this Amiga Active CD. This is only to get you
started, the whole CD is packed with useful and entertaining material. These
highlights contain a few pointers, but half the fun is in exploring the CD yourself.
- Assembly 01 demos
- We have the top Amiga demos from the Assembly 01 competition, including the overall winner,
Lapsuus. The Demos drawer also contains several other quality demos for your entertainment.
- Perfect Paint
- If last month's TV Paint giveaway was a bit OTT for your needs, we have a more modest paint
program this month, Perfect Paint. No, it didn't cost �800, but neither does it require gobs
of RAM and a graphics card. Now you have a choice of paint packages.
- Defender of the Crown
- Remember this old classic? Now you have another chance to play it. Fans of classic games
should check out the Amiga Rediscovery
web site in the Information section of the CD.
- NetInfo and Streamer
- We've got updates to these two useful programs. NetInfo will tell you plenty about any
Internet hosts and help with any problems you may have connecting. While you're trying
to solve these problems, why not use Streamer to listen to some Internet radio?
- PlayCD skins
- We commented on the lack of alternative skins for PlayCD in the POS 3.9 Masterclass.
