NEWS * 30 JULY 1998 * IMPROVED *

So you want to know more about my last week? COOL!

Besides all the novelties you can read in the main page, much more things are happening in my insignificant life. I finished UNREAL in the UNREAL level, I can't control the space ship in FORSAKEN, I can't get 3D acceleration in INTERSTATE 76, etc, etc... but my life doesn't stop in just playing games. Sure I grabbed over 400MB of pictures in order to start an UNREAL website; sure I play everyday; sure I can't sleep very good with the daylight coming in my room, from 7 am, but this is just the way I am. If you are JUST a little bit like me, why don't YOU drop me a line. WRITE ME something!

I am regularly up from 12 (pm) to 7 (am). I spent ALL my time listening to music, watching movies in my home-theater system, reading books, programming and playing games. I do nothing else, except going out for a swim or to ride my old montain bike. I do NOT watch TV, except for some highly selected programs (DUCKMAN, SIMPSONS, MILLENIUM, F1, CART...). I will soon start working in a computer game (not a racing one), and I will put up a site just for it, or even grow to a personal domain (www.arturmarques.com), that would then host APR and ALL my other webs. This game will be different from what you are expecting. I am a single programmer, NOT a team, like APR :-). I am FAR from having the know how and / or the resources to bring you QUAKE XXI, but I am LEARNING!

About ALAIN PROST RACING: the site is becoming MORE and MORE popular, thank YOU! Life CAN be GREAT.

The FUTURE could be BRIGHT. In fact, APR was invited to be in a magazine's CDROM! Thousands of readers will be able to read it off-line, and then come visit the REAL THING. I will try to keep the current pace of updates, quite a stressing one, believe me. This is not a mere descritive site. Here you can grab files from our team's racing efforts! Here you can grab videos, join a mailing list and talk to people all over the world, who enjoy PC RACING GAMES, real life F1, or just the FUN of being ALIVE! This site gives you FEEDBACK! Welcome home FRIEND!

Next update will be in a week, or so. August is coming in and I have other things to workout. ONE week is NOT much time. If you want to join the team or tell us something, do it **NOW**!
