The following text is taken from a mail of Stefan Burstroem to the mailing list

Omnipresence Intl. and HiSoft are still devoted to the Amiga and we will continue our development of webbased software for the Amiga. We have invested alot of money in new equipment and technologies to allow us to remain the leading web browser developers. Future expansions to IBrowse are
  • Inline MPEG/QT/AVI support (hardware MPEG if you own a CV3d board)
  • Inline VRML support (hardware accelerated if you own a CV3d board)
  • Extensive plugin api for all types of plugins.
  • Internal support for SSL. (will be part of 1.2)
  • Internal support for JavaScript.
The above things are just a few of our ongoing projects and we hope that you will continue to support us.
