About creating an Arabic document

To work with Arabic text in documents, make sure you do the following.

• Use the Arabic version of Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition, Microsoft Windows 98, or Microsoft Window NT 4.0, or any language version of Microsoft Windows 2000. In a non-Arabic version of Windows 2000, you need to set up system support.
• Enable Arabic for editing in Microsoft Office.
• If you are using a non-Arabic version of Microsoft Windows 2000, install the keyboard layout for Arabic.
