Moving a clip near the top of an existing category

User-added clips will appear near the top of a category. Adding a clip to a category moves the clip to the top group of clips in the category. The top group are those clips which have the category selected in the clip properties window. Note that most clips in a category do not have that category selected in their properties window. Most clips are part of a category by virtue of their keywords (clips keyworded with Animals also appear in the Animals category). By actually selecting the category you force the clip to be in the top group. If you add a lot of clips, however, you may have to scroll down or click the Keep Looking button to find the clip you are looking for.

To move a clip near the top of an existing category

  1. Click the clip you would like to appear among the first clips in a category.
  2. On the Pop-up menu, click the Add to category button:

    Add to category

  3. Click or type the category name.
