HISTORY
Over the last twenty years, a growing list of scientists and sciences have turned their attention to the mysteries of the brain. The list of disciplines that make brain and cognition a part of their focus includes psychology, medicine, biology, neuroscience, philosophy, artificial intelligence, anthropology, sociology, religion, education, and even quantum physics.
What has happened is really quite simple:
The neurosciences made such huge strides toward unlocking and discovering mysteries of the human brain and nervous system that the flood of information and insight cascaded into every aspect of human inquiry. To answer questions like, "What is consciousness?" demands the participation of many thinkers from many perspectives. The CSRB works to bring the diversity of thinking about the brain and religion into the same arena.
