- <= means "less than or equal to"
- ^ is used to indicate exponentiation. Thus "c squared" = c^2
- Sum(x) = the summation symbol = the sum of all the values of x
- Delta(x) = the Greek letter, capital delta = change in the value of x
- cfs = cubic feet per second
- In examples,
b
indicates a blank space.
- In the input instructions, all numbers are assumed to be in the Fortran F10.0 format unless stated otherwise.
- When a group of related lines is repeated in an input, those lines are listed in the form "Lines 6+". In some cases, multiple copies of the line in question occur together. In others, a set of lines is repeated for every stress period. For example the sequence might be "Line 1, Line 2, Line 3, Line 4, Line 2, Line 3, Line 4" with Lines 2, 3, and 4 repeated for every stress period. In this document the Lines would be listed as Line 1, Lines 2+, Lines 3+, Lines 4+.
