MODFLOW Help File License

All users

All users may provide unregistered copies of the "MODFLOW Help File" to anyone at a fee not to exceed three times the cost of the medium on which it is packaged or five dollars, whichever is greater. If the "MODFLOW Help File" is bundled with other materials in a single package, the cost of the entire package can not exceed three times the cost of the medium on which it is packaged without special permission from the author of the "MODFLOW Help File", his executors, or trustees.

Unregistered users

Unregistered users may use the "MODFLOW Help File" free for their own personal use for up to 30 days starting from the date they first obtain any version of the "MODFLOW Help File". After 30 days all unregistered users must either pay the registration fee or remove their copy from their computer.

Registered individual users

Registered individual users can have either one copy of the "MODFLOW Help File" on one computer used by several people nonsimultaneously or on several computers used by only one person but not both. You can put the "MODFLOW Help File" on a local area network so long as you have a license for each computer that can access the "MODFLOW Help File" through the network. Registered users may download and use updated versions of the "MODFLOW Help File" through the internet without paying an additional registration fee.

Registered users with a site license

Registered users with a site license can have the "MODFLOW Help File" available to up to 10 individuals simultaneously. You can put the "MODFLOW Help File" on a local area network so long as no more than 10 individuals can access the "MODFLOW Help File" simultaneously. Students, faculty, and staff at educational institutions and employees at other institutions which have a site license may use the "MODFLOW Help File" on their own personal computers under the terms of the site license so long as they remain associated with the institution which owns the site license. All persons who make use of this option are required to inform and have the permission of the owner of the site license or they will be considered unregistered individual users. Registered users with a site license may download and use updated versions of the "MODFLOW Help File" through the internet without paying an additional registration fee.
