Research Projects
Related to the Drake Equation

The SETI Institute conducts scientific research in the general field of Life in the Universe with an emphasis on the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence.

The Institute is home to more than 25 active research projects, most of them investigating the factors in the Drake Equation.

This page attempts to classify each project by the Drake Equation factor(s) being investigated. Note that some projects deal with science education or medical applications of signal processing.

The Project Number is linked to a short description of the project.

The Drake Equation factor is linked to a page discussing the factor or to the Drake Equation page.
