Beta 2a for Windows95 is here!

Cosmonauts, Beta 2a of Cosmo Player has landed, filled with new features for you to explore. Here is a quick summary:

• Robust Java support through the Cosmo Player External Interface!
• Support for Netscape Navigator 3.0 and Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 (through NS plug-in compatibility)
• New nodes: Proximity Sensor, Billboard, MovieTexture, PixelTexture and Background color
• Improved VRMLscript support
• Improved PROTOs
• Supports VRML 2.0 final, VRML 2.0 Draft 2 and VRML 1.0
• Cleaner installation and removal

Please keep in mind that the ship is still being outfitted and not all its capabilities are in place. Please read the release notes for information on the current status of your Cosmo Player.

This beta is compliant with the final draft of the VRML 2.0 spec!

Choose a Site to Download Cosmo Player (2.6MB)

After you complete the download, bookmark the jumpgate, and run the setup program. It will install automatically.
