FROM: Kenneth Leung
DATE: December 28, 1989
SUBJECT: TLXFON version C
Features:
1. Set Default Protocol to Zmodem. (For the purpose of
viewing File Directory.) The original default protocol
is Xmodem).
2. Send INIT. string when receiving an off-line (no carrier)
signal.
3. Remain in memory as long as you like. This way, you
don't have to press (ALT-D) AFTER you are off-line (or
getting busy signal, whatever.) Simply press ENTER once
and you are back to the phone directory.
4. Modify the status line. Instead "Alt-Z for Help" and the
name of the emulation (ANSI-BBS, VT100, etc.), I put the
name of the BBS that you are currently on on there.
5. I have alternate the structure of the script for fast
typist or a high transmitted rate modem.
Reminder: 1. If you use (ALT-K) to define a key for
TLXFON-C.SLC, basically you can use any key
you want. However, it is a good idea that not
to use (ALT-D). It will not "POP" up the
directory WHILE you are ON-LINE!
2. While at DOS prompt, type the following:
TELIX.EXE sTLXFON-C
will execute the TLXFON-C.SLC immediately!
ps. In the TLXFON-C.ZIP, there is another script called
ESC.SLC The purpose of this script is to send ESC
without aborting the script. To use it, simply assign
a key (ie. the upper-left corner key "`", any key
except "ESC" itself) for the script.
