@BYLINE = Publisher Information Service

@BYLINE = "When you're SERIOUS about your documents"
@FIRSTPAR = With our newfound ability to utilize numerous laser printer
fonts in Desktop Publishing packages coupled with the power of the
laser printer has come the need to alter these fonts to suit custom
needs and requirements. A new breed of software has made its mark
on the PC horizon - the Font Editor.
SoftCraft, Inc. of Madison, Wis has been offering the PC user high
quality fonts and font utilities since before most of us ever hear
the term "Desktop Publishing" and is well know amongst business and
word processing users for its Fancy Font and Fancy Word add on packages
for laser printers. Now they have done the same for the need to edit
and custom design laser printer fonts. The result is the SoftCraft
Font Editor.
The SoftCraft Font Editor will allow you to create your own fonts
and also alter existing ones with ease. The versatile program also
allows you to create logos and special symbols. Creating logos or
letterheads, accented characters, special symbols, foreign lanauges
characters or virtually any other characters is easily accomplished
with this Font Editor since it uses your computer's graphics mode
to provide you with a powerful yet easy-to-use mouse and menu driven
tools for editing fonts. The SoftCraft Font Editor also provides the
user with the ability to zoom in and out and display up to five different
windows during font editing. The windows can have a different character
or can also contain an alternate view of a character being edited. The
Font Editor is also provided with a set of built in tools to edit
existing characters or create new news. You may create entirely new
fonts, or simply replace characters in an existing font.
@HEADLINE 1L = Compatibility
SoftCraft's Font Editor works with fonts in HP soft format, as well
as SoftCraft font format for laser and dot matrix printers. The Editor
