TimeGlobe V2.0
Copyright 1988, 1989, 1990 By Christopher Manrique
All Rights Reserved.
REQUIRED - EGA or VGA.
OPTIONAL, but SUPPORTED - Math Coprocessor.
TimeGlobe displays the earth rotating about it's axis.
It will display the portion of the earth that is currently
facing the sun.
TimeGlobe processes over 8300 3d transforms per frame.
Syntax: TG timezone [fast]
Timezones : Eastern Standard Time = 5
Eastern Daylight Time = 6
Central Standard Time = 6;
Central Daylight Time = 7;
Mountain Standard Time = 7;
Mountain Daylight Time = 8;
Pacific Standard Time = 8;
Pacific Daylight Time = 9;
The fast option will display the earth rotating about
it's axis in a 24 minute day. (of course it will no
longer correctly show the side of the earth facing the
sun.)
To exit from TimeGlobe, hit any key. TimeGlobe will finish
as soon as it's done drawing it's current frame. (I could have
it exit immediately, but this would slow the frame rate a
small, but measurable amount.)
V2.0 of timeglobe added these features:
The fast option (actually added correct time showing.
V1.0 had Fast as the default option.)
Timezones (v1.0 defaulted to CST.)
Frame Rate is approx (15-20% faster).
Frame Rate is displayed upon exit.
