- Hall - There's nothing here. Take door to N.
- Warriors Shrine - Jump up on the altar and open the strong box. You won't get
- burned if you stay near the center. Collect a Massacre Spell and Shirikan.
- When you're back on the floor, use the Bless Weapon Spell on the Shirikan.
- Open the chest on the floor to get a Shot Shield Potion. Drink some Shot
- Shield and ready the Shirikan before entering the N door.
- Inner Chapel - Wipe out the two Volcanoes. Get the Stamina Potion off of the
- altar. You will need six Teleport Stones, and here is the first one. Go
- ahead and take it.
- Ante Room - Exit to S.
- Outer Chapel - Quickly exit to E.
- Inner Chapel - Exit to E.
- Relicary - Pick up the ashes and put them into the urn. Keep the urn. Pick
- up the Mind Blast Spell. Jump and touch the Rams Skull above the altar to
- reveal a secret door. Take door to S.
- Chapel Armoury - Take the armour and a couple of the books. Open the chest
- and take the Shirikan; use the Bless Weapon Spell again. Work the lever
- until the spikes drop down and you can exit.
- Relicary - Take N door.
- Secret Room - Throw armor at opening in moving wall. Then throw a book at
- the armor until one or the other drops over the wall. Then throw the lever.
- With careful timing you can now pass through this room to the E exit.
- Secret Room - (south) Throw the lever to raise all the walls. Return to
- Inner Chapel.
- Inner Chapel - Take N door.
- Lords Shrine - Put the 0 power Mind Blast Spell into the casket, then put
- the casket into the strong box. Retrieve the Spell; it is now 50 power.
- Return to the Inner chapel.
- Inner Chapel - Note: The Foam Monsters can usually be avoided, but the
- floating Eyes are dangerous and should be eliminated. My technique is to
- get under them and jump into them. Head W.
- Outer Chapel - Avoiding the Foam, take out the Floating Eye and grab the
- coin with the 'U'. Exit to N.
- Ante Room - Pull the left lever, then pull three more levers, but NOT one
- above which the rams head has risen. Then push the button. Exit to W.
- Main Passage - Exit to S.
- Main Passage - (west) Avoid the slime hole - it will only cause you grief.
- Load up with Shot Shield and Shirikan, and head W to hunt Volcanoes.
- Nameless - Remove the 6 Volcanoes and proceed W, but save a dose of Shot
- Shield!
- Feasting Hall - Those four large blocks in the center of the room trigger
- missiles. You need the Sleep Spell and the W coin that are out there, so
- take that Shot Shield and go get 'em. Continue to W.
- Feasting Hall - (west) Examine the chair, then throw the switch. The wall
- switch thus exposed gives forth a clue. Push the button on the N wall and
- exit to N.
- Side Hall - Go up the steps, then head S.
- Back Passage - Get key, then return to west Feasting Hall.
- Feasting Hall - (west) Exit to W.
- Back Passage - Pull Lever, then Return to Back Passage via stairs. Drop down
- the opening made with the lever. Open the chest. Don't touch the
- Transporter yet! This chest will give you unlimited gold. Just keep opening
- and closing it. Every time you do, you get another 60 gold pieces. Keep at
- it as long as you want, and prevent furure worries about having enough gold
- to save games! Grab the Transporter when you're ready to leave.
- Upper Chamber - Exit to S, return to downstairs Back Passage.
- Back Passage - Take door to S.
- Kitchen - Here's another situation where you have to kill the Eye and avoid
- the Foam. Take the first door to the NE.
- Cooks Store - One of the barrels is a Stamina Potion.
- Kitchen - Grab the Potion. Take SE door.
- Wash House - Take the Cure Poison Potion.
- Kitchen - Exit to S.
- Cooks Passage - Take first door to W.
- Cooks Room - You have to move quickly here. Get onto the pot before it rises
- out of reach so you can open the chest and get a store room key.
- Cooks Passage - Head east in passage.
- Cooks Passage - (middle) Use a Sleep Spell on the Eye in the wall. Then take
- door to S.
- Boys Room - Take the gold from the strong box, then push the strong box under
- the cat head on the wall. Climb onto chest to operate switch. Exit to W.
- Maids Room - Push the button on the wall and take the Transporter from the
- chest.
- Cellar - Knock all the bottles off of the platform. Take the key and the
- cash. Exit to N.
- Cooks Passage - (east) Use Store Room Key on lock. Take E door.
- Granary - Scuff around under the high platform. There's a key in there. Use
- it in the lock. Climb to the high platform to pull the chain. Go ahead -
- drop into the pit.
- Granary - (basement) Pull the lever to allow exit. Put the Eye to sleep.
- Drop down another level.
- Granary - (subbasement) It's impossible to avoid the Foam here, so grab the
- two keys, pull the lever (ignore the opening), climb the chains and take
- some Cure Poison. Return to the middle Cooks Passage.
- Cooks Passage - (middle) There is now an extremely tough Tortoise waiting
- for you in the western end of the passage. Prepare the Massacre Spell.
- Cooks Passage - (west) Use the Massacre Spell on the tortoise. Open the
- Tortoise Shell for some gold. Use the Tortoise Shell Key to unlock door
- to N. Return to Upper Chamber.
- Upper Chamber - Exit to N.
- Top Passage - There is a tricky 'Arcade' sequence here; you might want to
- do a save. Use the North West Turret Key to open the passage. You want to
- stand just south of the stone the Mind Blast Spell is on, and jump as far
- as you can toward the button. Then run to that button before the rods drop
- down to block it. Push the button and continue N.
- Ward Room - Return to the Top Passage and pick up the 'L' Coin and the spell,
- then walk down to the floor of the Ward Room to the chest. Drag the chest
- to the center of the room. Open it and grab the Transporter. Return to Main
- Passage.
- Main Passage - Head N to area with 3 Eyes in wall. Put them to sleep. Now
- walk past rams heads to N end of Main Passage. Pick up the 'F' coin. Feed
- the coins into the slot to spell WULF. Take door to W.
- Side Passage - Pull lever. Take door to W.
- Guard Room - Walk under platform and stand west of it until Foam Monster
- pushes strong box off of platform. Then climb the stairs.
- Side Passage - Take the Freeze Spell and the Strength Potion. Continue E to
- Main Passage.
- Main Passage - Pull lever. Return to Guard Room.
- Guard Room - At this point, you might want to kill the Foam. 48 points of
- Mind Blast will do it in. The chest contains 500 in gold. Use Dispell Trap
- to gain access. If you feel adventurous, take the S door (this is optional).
- Cell - Pull lever to enter cell area. Take the Shirikan and the coin. Take
- the meat and the gold. Hold the meat ready to throw. When a Foam Monster
- enters the room, throw the meat at it. It may take several tries to get
- the meat past the bars. When you hit the Foam, you are released. Return to
- Main Passage.
- Main Passage - (north, lower level) Take E door.
- Side Passage - Pull lever to lower platform, then push platform over pit.
- Board platform and pull second lever. Take N door.
- Guard Room - Grab key, then exit to E.
- North Chamber - Put the Eyes to sleep, then go downstairs and grab the two
- gems. Return to Side Passage.
- Side Passage - (upper) Take door to S.
- Side Chamber - Take door to E.
- Upper Chamber - Take Unlock Chest Spell and round gem. The best bets to open
- are the strong box and the casket. You get a Bless Potion Spell and some
- Stamina Potion. Bless the Stamina Potion twice to make it 3 doses of 45.
- Side Chamber - Drop to the floor. You need the items on the balcony along the
- west wall. There are two ways to get them. If you still have the Giant
- Jump, you can just jump to it. Or use the Strength Potion to push the
- pillar around the room. Using the Strength Potion, drag and push the pillar
- against the balcony. The items on the balcony will slide onto the top of
- the pillar. Then push the pillar back under the original platform to get
- the key, Stamina Potion, and gold. Use the key to uncover the W door.
- Main Passage - Head south to the section with the triangular opening in the
- west wall. Put the tetrahaedral gem in the hole, then the cubic gem and
- finally the spherical gem. A doorway to the east is unbarred. Save here;
- the next passage is difficult.
- Side Passage - Jump over the spikes and stop, then edge forward until a
- second set appears in front of you. The first set is now gone, and you can
- get a running start to jump over these. Repeat a third time. In the next
- section, you must throw the Pass Key through the bars. Now they will part
- to let you through. Pick up the key. Continue east to the next section and
- quickly take the N door.
- Barrack - Pass through to N.
- Captains Room - Take door to E.
- Armoury - Pick up the spike. Pick up the 'free chain' key. The strong box is a
- trap, but you can go for the gold if you want. Pull the weapons rack away
- from the east wall to reveal a keyhole. Use the key, then pull the chain
- to release yourself.
- Captains Room - Take the gauntlet from the chest. Push the button on the
- west wall, then put the spike in the hole you opened. Return to Barrack.
- Barrack - You can now take the east door.
- Guards Store - Don't believe the message! Take the meat and return to the
- Side Passage.
- Side Passage - Drop the meat in the center of the passage to attract the
- Foam Monster. It will push the Teleporter through the bars. Take the
- Teleporter. You are still in the Side Passage, but further east. Use the
- Pass Key to continue east.
- Guard Hall - The lever on the wall frees the gem, but if you touch it you'll
- be squashed. Use a piece of armor to push the gem out from between the two
- walls. Stay away from the door to the north - it's a trap! Head east.
- Ward Room - Push the platform over the pit, then pull the wall lever three
- times to lift it. Head up the left staircase.
- Lookout Room - Push the second bar from the right. Be careful! All the other
- bars do severe damage if touched. Get the gold and wand, then pull the
- lever, which opens the west door out of the Ward Room. Exit through the
- second bar from the left.
- Ward Room - Hop onto the platform and push the button, then take right
- staircase.
- Outer Ward - You'll want to use either a Speed Potion or a Fire Shield Potion
- to get the gem from beneath the flames.
- Ward Room - Take door to south.
- East Passage - Walk to south. In next section, hug the east wall and get up
- onto the steps. You can 'head' the Floating Eye from here.
- East Chamber - Edge toward button until you can push it. Jump to center
- platform when you can...note the bars to sweep you off if you ride the
- moving platform around the west side! Take the gem and the Unlock Door
- Spell. Wait for moving platform to come along east side of platform; take
- it back to the door and return to the East Passage.
- East Passage - Head north and take the door to the east.
- Lords Chamber - Do the bit with the three gems again. Take the stairway thus
- revealed.
- Secret Hall - Hop off top of stairs and take N door.
- Secret Tunnel - Push button to be teleported over pit. Return west through
- the door to collect the key. Use it in the lock and proceed east. Go up
- steps and through N door.
- Side Tunnel - Take W door.
- Lords Armoury - Hold gauntlet while touching acid chest. Collect gold and
- Shirikan.
- Side Tunnel - Ready a Freeze Spell and take a door to the east.
- Great Chamber - Use the Freeze Spell and quickly get down to lower level to
- use Shirikan on volcanoes. Grab the key and exit to the north.
- Side Tunnel - Take door to west.
- Side Tunnel - Take door to west.
- Lords Treasury - Collect the loose change, then open the strong box. You'll
- find three bags of gold and a lead casket. This is special gold; you can't
- add it to your total. One at a time, you must put the bags into the casket
- and take them past the gold detector outside the Treasury. If you don't use
- the chest, bars will drop and trap you.
- Side Tunnel - Now pick up the bags you had to drop out here, use the key and
- take the right door on the north wall.
- Axels Chamber - Open the chest to get the two keys. Drop the gold bags on
- the step between the ram skulls for some clues. Now push the left skull
- and take the corresponding Teleporter.
- Lords Chamber - To get some more gold, return to the Guard Hall and take the
- door to the north.
- Guard Chamber - Take the Poison Potion you find and throw it at the mouth on
- the wall. Leave the room richer and return to the East Chamber.
- East Chamber - Save here, because this next part is a bit dicey. You must
- ride the moving platform to the button on the west wall, push it and get
- to the center platform before you're brushed into the pit. Then on the
- next pass of the moving platform, go through the doorway you uncovered.
- Lost Passage - Take the door to the N.
- (Maze) - Use the Door Spell on the W door. Now ready a Shirikan and remove
- the Volcano in the next room. Unlock the W door, go W, unlock the N door.
- There's another Volcano in this room, so clean it out. Unlock the W door,
- go W, then unlock and go N twice. You are now in a room with a keyhole and
- a lever. Ignore the lever, use the Maze key in the keyhole. Exit W.
- Secret Room - Pick up the Emerald and head W back to the Feasting Hall.
- Feasting Hall - You are now ready to enter the Captains Room and complete
- Level 2. But once you enter that room you lose all weapons and spells. So
- be sure your Stamina is maxed out before entering! All you take with you
- to Level 3 is your diary.
- Side Hall - The door to the east will now open.
- Captains Hall - Place the urn on the empty pedestal. Then place the Emerald
- there. A hole opens in the floor. Drop the six Teleporters down the hole.
- Go to the south section of the room and pull the lever, then step into
- the teleport circle. Level Three...almost halfway!
