  5. 1. To work with 3D Studio the VESA modes must be loaded. Load them residently into your PC's memory (e.g. with a command line in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file) with the following command:

  7. V7MEPVBE.EXE
  8.  
  9. (You will find this file in your SPEA directory C:\SPEA\GDC).

  11. 2. Configure 3D Studio with the program VIBCFG.
  12.  
  13. 3. Change to the \3DS3 or \3DS4 directory and start the program with the following command:

  15. 3DS VIBCFG
  16.  
  17. 4. During the configuration select the option 'VIBRANT' for the following items:
  18.  
  19. MAIN-DISPLAY
  20.  
  21. MATERIAL-DISPLAY
  22.  
  23. RENDER-DISPLAY
  24.  
  25. 5. Select the corresponding graphics board at the entries 'Graphics board'.
