Amiga Intuition Based Benchmarks
Load Module Information Extraction Utility
Program Version: 6.5
Copyright 1991 LaMonte Koop
PROGRAM SYNOPSIS
ModInfo is a simple utility designed to allow the extraction of the
information stored within a load module created by Amiga Intuition Based
Benchmarks ( AIBB ). These load modules are utilized by AIBB to facilitate
system comparisons, and are loaded into AIBB at the user's descretion and
used for performance comparisons. This utility will allow the viewing of
the system and comparison information stored within these modules when AIBB
created them.
Each load module is set up to contain both information about the
system in question, and the test results which were obtained when the load
module creation facility was activated from within AIBB. AIBB is capable
of showing a great deal of information about a system, but it is not the
full picture. More information than is presented by the main program is
stored within each module, and this utility will extract that as well as
the normally shown information.
PROGRAM USAGE
ModInfo is a CLI/Shell only program, and is run using the following
command-line template:
ModInfo [ >modfile.txt ] modfile
The brackets indicate an optional redirection of the file output to a text
file by the CLI/Shell redirection facility. This is the preferred method
of output. If no redirection is given, the output will be directed to the
current CLI/Shell window. Error status is given for improper command-line
parameters and trying to display information about a file which is not an
AIBB-created load file.
Comments and suggestions about this utility, and AIBB are always welcomed,
as I hope to be able to continue its development. Please feel free to make
any suggestion you see fit, but do try to be constructive in any criticism
so that I may improve this software. Bug reports are certainly wanted,
and I will do my best to locate and correct such problems.
I can be reached electronically many ways, but if you have internet
access, this is the easiest. The internet addresses I can be found at are:
