MoonDial V1.5 By SilverScope
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The full version of MoonDial includes the following features:
* Choose from two moon sizes. 33 and 59 pixel diameters.
* Attractive texture mapping for both sizes. Default textures look good in
any screen mode (even on a 4 colour Workbench!).
* Textures are in IFF ILBM format, so why not make your own textures!
* Auto update mode. Watch the phase change in real time.
Useage
~~~~~~
Make sure that "TOOLPRI" tooltype is lower than 0. This is so MoonDial will
run in the background without slowing your amiga.
It is a good idea to place MoonDial and MoonDial.info in to the WBStartup
directory. Do not put the textures in WBStartup too, place them somewhere
else. Make sure to select the directory that the textures reside in using
the "Texture dir" menuitem. (Note that textures will not load in the demo)

Bugs/Troubleshooting
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As this is a small program, there should be no problems. But no program is
perfect:
* A corrupt mdial.conf can cause strange behaviour or the program may not
run at all. So delete "S:mdial.conf" if this happens, and rerun the program
again.
* If no textures load even if "Textures" in the settings menu is enabled then
make sure the "texture dir" is set correctly (should be the directory
containing smoon.iff and lmoon.iff).
* If MoonDial slows your machine, lower it's priority Tooltype "TOOLPRI", or
if it is being run from a toolbar, alter MoonDial's priority from there.
* The textures should look correct on any normal Workbench, but feel free to
edit them.
* Auto update mode may slow down your machine a little.
* If you are running MoonDial for the first time with a screen font other
than size 8, and the lower half of the moon has been cut off, don't worry-
Just select a moon size setting from the "settings" menu and save.
* Does not work after 2046!
History
~~~~~~~
V1.0 - Initial idea
No menus, No textures, Infested with bugs, Inaccurate, It was just to
find out how practical this idea was.
V1.1 - Added menus.
Made window sizable.
V1.11 - Found that textures could be applied. Began to look great. BUT made
resizing rather impractical. 8-( shame!
V1.2 - Added another moon size (twice the size as the first!).
Made a texture for that moon size.
V1.3 - Improved accuracy - now looks more like its supposed to 8-).
Fixed texture alignment.
V1.4 - Fixed a bug where the program would crash if resized from small-large
when window was against the right/bottom of the screen.
Added texture directory selection. They can't go in WBStartup as well!
Added texture on/off toggle menuitem.
Fixed a bug where the program would not load if no textures were found.
V1.41 - Altered the program so that textures are only loaded when needed.
V1.42 - Added auto update option.
V1.43 - Auto update option improved - uses less CPU.
Should now work with any font size.
V1.44 - Fixed a bug where program exits after it has lost the textures.
Reacts slowly due to auto update. So I fixed that!
V1.5 - Made the program smaller.
