  18.   README.TXT is used to explain how to use QUICKSET and PSCONFIG to
  19.   install and manage your TE-350 print servers. It is also used to
  20.   provide release notes for newer versions of your TE-350 print server and
  21.   its utilities.

  23. QUICKSET.EXE
  24.  
  25.   QUICKSET.EXE is an express setup program that configures the TE-350 with
  26.   default settings. For more information, please quit browsing this file
  27.   and type QUICKSET [Enter].

  29. PSCONFIG.EXE
  30.  
  31.   PSCONFIG.EXE lets you to install your TE-350 print server using
  32.   PCONSOLE. When finished with PSCONFIG, use PSCONFIG to inform TE-350
  33.   to login to the file server.

  37. HOW TO USE QUICKSET.EXE TO SETUP YOUR TE-350
  38. ============================================
  39.  
  40. 1. Connect print cables and network cable to your TE-350 print server. 
  41.  
  42. 2. Connect power adapter to your TE-350 print server to power it up.
  43.  
  44. 3. Turn on or reboot your workstation and Login to the file server with
  45.    supervisory rights.
  46.  
  47. 4. Insert the utility diskette into your PC. Assume that it is
  48.    inserted into drive b:.
  49.  
  50. 5. Execute QUICKSET.EXE.
  51.    Log on to drive b:, to configure your TE-350 to be print server,
  52.    type
  53.  
  54.      QUICKSET SCnnnnnn [Enter]
  55.  
  56.      where SCnnnnnn is the default unit name recorded on the bar code label
  57.      on the back of the TE-350 case. A status message will appear on the
  58.      screen. If Quickset is successful, your TE-350 print server is installed
  59.      with default configuration, and ready to service queues P1, where P1 is
  60.      for parallel port 1. If Quickset is unsuccessful, a message will appear
  61.      to inform you with possible reasons and actions to take.

  63.      To configure your TE-350 to be remote printer, type
  64.  
  65.        QUICKSET SCnnnnnn X
  66.  
  67.      Where X is the name of the print server to be logged in. TE-350
  68.      will be configured as remote printer to service queues P1 attached by X.

  70. 6. With the following command, you can send a file to the parallel port 1
  71.    of your TE-350 print server.
