* ASSEMBLY PROGRAMMING *
**************************
On the disk as an accompanyment to this file, I have written some assembler
tracker players. Install them by following the instructions as listed in the
HOW TO EXTRACT ARCHIVES article, by installing ASSEMBLY.TOS and then extracting
the archive. I have written a couple of module players, and when compiled and
packed, you can see they are pretty small, and produce excellent sound quality.
I've compiled them for everyone who doesn't use assembler, and they only take
up 6kb each! Just type in the name of the module you want to play and magically
it plays. Press space to stop, and type COOL to exit. I could go on for ages
about how I made them, but I won't, so anyone interested in the source can
read the remarks in the code throughout the programs. Have fun! Write to me,
sending in your assembler programs and earn world wide fame to the usual
B.O.S. address! I need your programs.
I recommend using an assembler such as Devpac, which I have included on the
disk for your benefit for using these programs. Just follow the extracting
instructions and install DEVPAC.TOS, and then run it to de-archive the files.
This is the origional Devpac assembler by Hisoft, and is now P.D., and it is
excellent and allows you to do anything with your machine.
As an added bonus, I have also included the full assembler source code to the
intro from this disk, so you can play around and do whatever you want with it!
Extract INTRO.TOS in the usual way.
I hope you will enjoy using the giveaways on this disk that accompany this
tutorial, just remember to register so you can install the programs!
Byeeeeeeeee, JD.
