  9. As  I am not a millionaire I can't buy 30 odd printers and  review 
  10.   
  11. them so I have reviewed all the printers that my friends have  got 
  12.   
  13. which work on the ST.  I have kept each printer for 2 to 3 days so 
  14.   
  15. I can get a pretty good idea what the printer is like.

  21. I have this printer.  It costs about £135 from Silica and is quite 
  22.   
  23. a good 9 pin printer as it is cheap and does it's job.   The draft 
  24.   
  25. is quite faint but the NLQ gives quite a good output.   It is very 
  26.   
  27. basic, it's maxium resolution DPI is 240 x 240 and it only has one 
  28.   
  29. font in draft and 2 fonts in NLQ but as I said,  for a simple  and 
  30.   
  31. cheap printer, this is the one to get.

  40. Whooooooooooooooo,  I  wish I had this printer.   It has 24  pins, 
  41.   
  42. prints 192 caps in draft, has 2 fonts in draft and 5 in NLQ and it 
  43.   
  44. has  a max res DPI of 360 x 360.   The printer costs  around  £280 
  45.   
  46. from  Panasonic  and is a brilliant printer.   It's quiet  and  it 
  47.   
  48. looks very stylish and impressive.

  57. This,  (as  you can tell from it's name) is a colour  printer  and

  59. quite a good one too.   It has 24 pins,  prints 222 caps in  draft 
  60.   
  61. and has a max res DPI of 360 x 360.   It has only 1 font in  draft 
  62.   
  63. but  10  fonts  in NLQ!   The printer itself is  full  of  stylish 
  64.   
  65. rounded off edges.   It is a good printer but is not worth £410 in 
  66.   
  67. my opinion.

  76. Quite  a strange looking printer and it smells when  printing  but

  78. maybe  that has something to do with the cats vomit on the  motor!

  80. It is a 9 pin printer which prints at an amazineg speed of  300cps 
  81.   
  82. in draft.   It has a max res DPI of 240 x 144 and costs £160  from

  90. This  is my uncles laser printer which cost him £821.33  which  is

  92. incredibly cheap for such a good printer he assured me.

  94. It  looks very unusual but is very capable.   It has 3  emulations

  96. which let you have 400 DPI.   It comes with 2 megabytes of Ram and 
  97.   
  98. WAS  the perfect printer untill I accidentally cracked  the  paper 
  99.   
  100. holder very badly (maybe he won't notice that crack and with a bit 
  101.   
  102. of luck he won't notice the tip-ex I spilt on it either.   Oh  and 
  103.   
  104. if   I'm  really lucky he may just miss the fact that there  is  a 
  105.   
  106. brick  half  way  through it!)  This is a  brilliant  printer  but 
  107.   
  108. although half of the above isn't true about what I have broken  it 
  109.   
  110. did  seem  all  to fragile or maybe I'm just  not  used  to  laser 
  111.   
  112. printers.  Anyway THANKYOU uncle.

  119. Well,  I'm afraid that's all of the printers I could get my  hands

  121. on as most of my friends don't have printers and some didn't trust

  123. me with their pride and joy!
