  13. 'COR  BLIMEY WOT A SCORCHER' is another brilliant mega  demo  from 
  14.   
  15. The Lost Boys and as the Lost Boys always do,  they have  produced 
  16.   
  17. an excellent demo.  Even the option screen is good.
  18.  
  19. The option screen puts you in control of a very fast spaceship  as 
  20.   
  21. you  fly  over  loads of rough terrain and  then  landing  on  the 
  22.   
  23. landing  spots  to  access  one  of  the  sub-demos.   Flying  the 
  24.   
  25. spaceship  is just a taster of how good all of the demo's  are  as 
  26.   
  27. the  scrolling smoothly glides along at a fast speed.   Just  this 
  28.   
  29. Option  screen can give you hours of fun trying to fly as  low  as 
  30.   
  31. possible  and then getting out of the way of a moutain as high  as 
  32.   
  33. Moby Dick when he's having an er.....And swiftly on!   Reading the 
  34.   
  35. message  underneath on the option screen is also quite amusing  as 
  36.   
  37. is  when  you crash your ship.   You will see your man  go  flying 
  38.   
  39. out  enduring alot of pain and you will then get a  sarcy  comment 
  40.   
  41. like,  "Moutains are hard,  spaceships aren't!" sometimes you will 
  42.   
  43. even get some verbal abuse involving some rude words...Ummmmmmmmm!

  45. Then  we have the Sub-Demos which are all very  good,  particulary 
  46.   
  47. 'Go  ahead,  make my bed!' which is very funny but gruesome  (that 
  48.   
  49. poor  carebear!)  but I won't say too much because it  will  spoil 
  50.   
  51. your  enjoyment  if you get it but let me tell you  that  my  baby 
  52.   
  53. brother now steers well clear of the computer!   The other  demo's 
  54.   
  55. are  all  very  good even though they are  not  all  majour  break 
  56.   
  57. throughs in computing.   There are some nice effects and some very 
  58.   
  59. good music,  there are also some good title screens,  such as  the 
  60.   
  61. one on,  'What a Bummer' you can probably imagine what the picture 
  62.   
  63. is.   There are lot's of nice touches, even if there are thousands 
  64.   
  65. of scrolling messages and overall you get a very,  very good  demo 
  66.   
  67. indeed.

  69. By the way there is even a cheat mode on this demo which lets  you 
  70.   
  71. enter any sub-demo you want by simply pressing a function key.  To 
  72.   
  73. access the cheat mode you have to type 'MANCHESTER' when your ship 
  74.   
  75. appears.   You  will  then  be called a 'LAZY GIT!'  but  if  that 
  76.   
  77. doesn't  bother  you then it's a good quick way of  accessing  the 
  78.   
  79. demos.
