~~~~ WILLYS BROTHER ~~~~
========================
~~~~ REVIEWED ~~~~
==================
Willys Brother is a small game that you can obtain from me by sending a
blank disk and return postage. It's a small little game programmed by a
French team and it isn't exactly brilliant although it does provide a
challenge.
I am not completley sure what you have to do as there are no instructions
although I take it that you hve to save Willys Brother.
You control Willy (I think...) who is a very small little person who moves
in a strange way and is not amazingly animated. You walk around different
screens such as outside where there are big beanstalks and inside some kind
of stone castle or something where there are STILL big beanstalks. All the
screens look the same andI have only met two different monster thingys that
I can remember and those are ghosts that float backwards and forwards and
badly animated bats that fly around in the same place. Nothing actually
comes to attack you, you just get in it's way really.
When it comes to sound effects there isn't any apart from a horrible ticking
noise when you lose energy, apart from that, all you can hear is a very
short peice of chip tune playing over and over again and as far as I know,
there is no way of turning it off!!!
The game is very basic really and is nothing to wrte home about, not even a
scribbled note really. My 5 year brother loves it though so if you have a
child or you are just curious then you might as well get it. I might
include it on this disk actually or next months issue.
