  13. Another  issue  gone  and as the days begin to get  shorter  and  colder,  I 
  14. realise that POWER is steadily approaching its second birthday which will be 
  15. issue 24 which will be released on the 1st January 1995 so not only will  we 
  16. be celebrating our 2nd birthday,  but also New Years Day as well.   Not  bad 
  17. huh?  Anyway, more about that nearer the time, meanwhile, we have to mourn a 
  18. bit more over the finishing of yet another issue of POWER.

  20. Sorry  if  this issue appeared smaller than most of the  others,  but  as  I 
  21. explained in THE EDITO PAGES (our editorial), I have been working on getting 
  22. POWER P.D.  off the ground and operating properly (send a disk and  S.S.A.E. 
  23. for a free disk catalogue).   Also,  some of our main contributors have been 
  24. extremely  busy  this month so they have not been able to write as  much  as 
  25. usual.   However,  it hasn't been a bad issue and there's well over 400k  of 
  26. pure text as usual so I hope that you enjoyed it.

  28. This disk magazine is Shareware.   Please register it if you have enjoyed it 
  29. or gained anything out of it.   Registration is just £1.25.   (make  cheques 
  30. and postal orders payable to JAMES MATHEWS).   For this, you get a free disk 
  31. called  THE  REGISTERS  EXTRA DISK.   Every month a new  issue  of  this  is 
  32. produced and includes loads of packed P.D. and also a mini-mag which is like 
  33. another little disk magazine with lots more articles and  competitions.   If 
  34. you  could  enclose return postage or\and a blank disk then  this  would  be 
  35. appreciated  even more but is not essential.   You can send more  than  this 
  36. obviously  and you can also send less than the required £1.25 for which  you 
  37. will  be acknowledged and thanked but you will not be entitled to a copy  of 
  38. THE REGISTERS EXTRA DISK.  Just be honest, that's all I ask.

  40. It's been a touch issue to produce this month but I hope it's been worth it.  
  41. Please  tell  me  what you thought about it and if  possible,  fill  in  the 
  42. OPINION.DOC  on this disk.   All feedback is always appreciated  and  anyone 
  43. that ever writes to me will be replied to (an S.S.A.E.  is appreciated if in 
  44. the  U.K.  but is essential if you are out of the U.K.  - Just  send  enough 
  45. International Reply Coupons to cover return postage) so please do.  Feedback 
  46. is  one of the most important things to a disk magazine and nearly all  disk 
  47. magazines  that  have died have gone due to lack of  it.   The  most  recent 
  48. example  being  STOSSER  disk magazine which has  just  released  its  final 
  49. issue.

  51. Well, I think that's your lot for this month.  No doubt that you are reading 
  52. this  before  you have even finished reading the magazine but  I  shall  say 
  53. goodbye now anyway.   POWER #22 is due out on the 1st of November (1994) and 
  54. can  be obtained from any good P.D.L.,  B.B.S.,  ST user group,  contact  or 
  55. directly from me by sending a disk and S.S.A.E.   Reserve a copy  NOW!   For 
  56. more  information  on what's going to be happening in next months  issue  of 
  57. POWER,  read  the "POWER #22" article in this issue.   If you would like  to 
  58. officially stock POWER disk magazine in your P.D.L.  or user group (and thus 
  59. get  all the issues sent to you along with the latest issue sent to  you  as 
  60. soon  as it is finished every month),  then get in touch with me now at  the
