  17. This  months  review  is  another  Science  Fiction Film.  A lot of you have
  18. probably seen this film already and don't really need this review, but TOUGH 
  19. I'm doing it anyway!

  24. Film name: Steel Dawn

  28. The story is set in the future (as always!) where most of the desolate  land 
  29. is  sand, and  where  people  travel by Wind carts.  Patrick Swayze stars as 
  30. Nomad, a lone Ex-soldier who through the death of a friend,takes on a simple 
  31. job on a small farm. The farm itself hides an underground water spring which 
  32. he helps to protect from the self-appointed law man, Damnil (Anthony  Zerbe) 
  33. and his hired assasin Sho (Christopher Neame).

  38. The above description may be  a  bit  short, but  be assured this film shows
  39. off the REAL-LIFE martial arts talent of  Patrick  Swayze.  Also,for us lads
  40. watch out  for  the  farms  boss  Kasha (Lisa  Nieme).  Where do film makers
  41. find these chicks?  She is gorgeous!

  43. Brion James is also  in  this  film  as  Tark, the farm foreman.  This great
  44. actor is in everything.  Previous  films  include Red  Scorpion, Enemy  Mine
  45. and the classic, Blade Runner.

  47. Christopher  Neame  makes  a  great  assasin  in this film.  Even though the
  48. character  is  big-headed  nasty  man, he  looks  pretty  cool, and he gives
  49. Swayze a hard time with his two swords and a small nasty 'Knee' knife!

  51. Even though the story is pretty basic, a load of action  and  slight  bit of
  52. romance make  this  a  great  film.  I would say it's almost a 'classic' but
  53. not quite!  Then again, this is only my opinion!
