PART ONE: EnCrypting a file
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Using CryptKeeper is pretty simple. first you start CryptKeeper
by typeing 'CRYPT' at the dos prompt. Then you will see:
CryptKeeper v1.08 [Alpha] - EnCryptor/DeCryptor
Copyright (C) 1996 Travis Powell, All Rights Reserved.
Password to use ->
at the "Password to use" prompt you can type in any thing you want
up to 19 characters long. It will then give you a integer number,
to use if you want. The next prompt will be:
CryptKeeper v1.08 [Alpha] - EnCryptor/DeCryptor
Copyright (C) 1996 Travis Powell, All Rights Reserved.
Password to use ->
EnCryption/DeCryption key (#'s) ->
at the "EnCryption/DeCryption key (#'s)" prompt you enter a number from
-65,534 to 65,534, you can also use the number that you got above.
It will then prompt you with this:
CryptKeeper v1.08 [Alpha] - EnCryptor/DeCryptor

Password to use ->
EnCryption/DeCryption key (#'s) ->
Filename to be EnCrypted/Decrypted ->
at this prompt enter the correct file to be encrypted and/or decrypted.
then you will see:
CryptKeeper v1.08 [Alpha] - EnCryptor/DeCryptor

Password to use ->
EnCryption/DeCryption key (#'s) ->
Filename to be EnCrypted/Decrypted ->
Filename to save as ->
at this prompt enter the name of the file you want the encrypted and/or
decrypted copy to be saved as.

PART TWO: DeCrypting a file
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
To decrypt a file, follow the same process as above. Only this
time instead of telling CryptKeeper what file to encrypt you tell
it what file to decrypt. For example if you encrypted a file
called Hi.Txt and saved it to Hi.Enc, then you would enter Hi.Enc
for the name of the file to EnCrypt/DeCrypt.

CryptKeeper v1.08 [Alpha] is released as Shareware.

To register CryptKeeper v1.08 [Alpha] please send a $5.00 check
(a check for five dollars) to:

to make sure you don't send the money to the wrong address run
CryptKeeper from the dos prompt like this:
Crypt -address
When i recieve your payment i will send you a letter with your serial
number and instructions on how to register CryptKeeper.
