<p>If you're set up for direct online services in Money, you can send a message to your bank to inquire about available bank services, request a copy of a check, order more checks, or ask about the status of payments, transfers, checks, or other transactions.</p>
<p variant="note">Your account must be set up for online services to send a message to your bank. The type of message you can send depends on the services supported by your bank.</p>
<ol>
<li>On the <emph>Accounts & Bills</emph> menu, click <emph>Account List</emph>.</li>
<li>Under <emph>Financial Institutions</emph>, click the name of your bank.</li>
<li>Under <emph>Use online services</emph>, click <emph>Send a message to [bank name] to inquire about a transaction, request checks, etc.</emph></li>
<li>On the <emph>Compose a message to [bank name]</emph> page, click <emph>New </emph>.</li>
<li>In the <emph>Compose message</emph> box, select one of the general message options.</li>
<li>Enter the details of your message, and then click <emph>OK</emph>.</li>
<li>Follow the instructions on the screen.</li>
</ol>
<p>If you are connected to the Internet, Money will send this message when you click <emph>Send</emph>. You will have to connect again to receive the response from your bank. Remember that this won't necessarily happen immediately.</p>
<p variant="note">Not all financial institutions offer this option.</p>

<p>This option is only available if you've set up an account at that financial institution to use online services directly from Money, and if that financial institution supports it.</p>
