PCFBLANK.EXE V1.0 - SCREEN BLANKER WITH PASSWORD PROTECTION
-----------------------------------------------------------
CREATED FOR PC FORMAT MAGAZINE. (C) 1993 W B ARNOLD
-----------------------------------------------------
PCFBLANK is a screen blanking program licenced free to PC
Format readers. It is designed to work in colour or
monochrome (25 X 80 text mode) on EGA/VGA and compatible
monitors on PC systems using DOS 3 and above.
The program includes optional password protection which is
set using a maximum of 8 characters - letters or numbers -
after the program name. If more than 8 characters are used
a message will be displayed telling you to make the password
shorter.
A help screen is provided to remind you of command line
options, and if you choose to rename PCFBLANK.EXE the screen
will be updated to show the new name.
For added security include the file NOBREAK.COM in the same
directory as PCFBLANK. This free utility will prevent
detection of Control-Break events from the keyboard and can
be included in your own batch files as you wish.
