- MINNESOTA VOCABULARY TEST
- Having a good vocabulary is asso-
- ciated with high levels of many ver-
- bal abilities. Based on this view,
- Dr. Melvin Haggerty of the Universi-
- ty of Minnesota and Dr. Alvin Eurich
- of Stanford produced this test as
- part of the Minnesota Reading Exami-
- nation. You will be forced to pull
- the words and their likely meanings
- from a different part of your memory
- than you would employ for everyday
- words. The test should serve as an
- interesting measure of the breadth
- of your vocabulary as well as your
- overall reading level.

- and change answers. You have six
- minutes to complete this test so
- you will have to work quickly.
