WILDCARDS
A wildcard can be either an asterisk (*) or a question
mark (?) and it can save you time when you want to search
for a word which has several possible endings. For
example, if you want to find all references to the word form
such as former, forming, formation, formed, forms, you would
use the asterisk wildcard (*) as follows:
Type the word form followed by an asterisk (no space):
form*
You will find all references to form plus any group of
letters following form. You would therefore find form,
former, forming, etc.
The question mark (?) wildcard is used in the same way but
will only find words with one letter added to your base
word. Thus form? would find all references to form, or
forms, but would not find former or forming.
