  3. Welcome to System Panel v1.00 -- a system tray utility.
  4.  
  5. System Panel provides menu access to the control panels
  6. on your system.
  7.  
  8. System Panel's setup program will place a shortcut in your
  9. startup folder, causing System Panel to be launched whenever
  10. you start Windows. Clicking on the System Panel icon in the
  11. Windows system tray will bring up the menu.

  18. - SysPanel does not search every possible location on the system for control
  19.   panels. There are three possible locations, but only rarely do control
  20.   panels occur outside the system folder. Thus, the system folder is the only
  21.   location currently searched for control panels. This will be addressed in
  22.   a future version, if necessary.

  24. - Under Windows 95, some of the control panels are 16-bit, a problem
  25.   because System Panel is a 32-bit application. An error occurs when
  26.   System Panel attempts to load these control panels. System Panel
  27.   successfully recovers from this error without interruption to the
  28.   user. The result is that these control panels will simply not be
  29.   displayed in the menu. Floating Point Software is researching a
  30.   possible fix for this problem.

  32.   There are no known cases of this problem occurring with Windows NT, probably
  33.   because most or all Windows NT control panels are 32-bit.

  35. - System Panel crashes if any control panel dialogs that were invoked through
  36.   System Panel are still active when System Panel closes.

  38. - There are a variety of issues with System Panel's installer. All are under
  39.   investigation or in the process of being fixed.
