  1. A generic morse-code practice utility for Unix systems.

  3. Currently supported devices:
  4.    Sun:   Sun workstation with audio hardware.
  5.    HP:    HP9000s700 with audio hardware.
  6.    X11:   The X11 window system. (Warning: not all X11 implementations handle
  7.           duration and frequency of beeps properly!)

  9. Adding a new device is as simple as creating a new implementation of the
  10. beep.h interface. See beep*.c for examples. Please send any additions
  11. to the authors!

  13. The program "QSO" by Paul J. Drongowski is also included.
