  1. St.Petersburg is a year-round attraction. In 
  2. Winter you can go skating or ice-fishing, take a 
  3. ride on Finnish sled, and ski. End of Winter is 
  4. marked by special festivities: riding in horse-
  5. drawn sled ("troika"), snow-ball fights and the 
  6. traditional "blini" (pancakes) are served.
  7. In the Spring the open-air stadiums start their 
  8. soccer season. Rowing, yachting and cycling 
  9. are the favorite spring sports.
  10. In Summer the White Nights Music and  Arts 
  11. Festival runs from the end of June. You can 
  12. spend a white night on a ship sailing out into 
  13. the Gulf of Finland. There are fireworks at 
  14. Petrodvorets, "the town of fountains".
  15. Autumn brings "red leaves" season to beautiful 
  16. parks of St.Petersburg suburbs. But the 
  17. Autumn is mostly rainy and cold. The theaters 
  18. and concert halls are crowded.
