Purpose
"Types of Microscopes" v2.0 is a self contained lesson on
types of microscopes. It has been designed by two high school
teachers to be used as a teaching tool in a classroom environment,
or as an mastery learning tool for an individual.
Its graphical interface introduces students to the compound light
microscope and various other forms of magnifying a specimen -
such as UV, Darkfield, X-Ray, SEM, and TEM microscopes. This
multimedia lesson ends with a test.
This lesson is only one part of a complete compound light
microscope tutorial package called "Scopemaster". If you like this
lesson, are a teacher or a home schooler, you may be interested in
the complete package which includes:
1. a virtual microscope that looks and functions exactly like
a real compound light microscope. The skills are transferable
to real microscope.
2. 89 Specimens to look at under the microscope with additional
specimens downloadable from the internet.

Installation
1. Download the "Lesson3.zip" file and put it in a directory,
you may want to create a new directory of your choice.
2. UNZIP the file "Lesson3.zip" in the directory
3. Run the file "Lesson3.exe"
