  18. Purpose
  19.  
  20. "Types of Microscopes" v2.0 is a self contained lesson on
  21. types of microscopes.  It has been designed by two high school
  22. teachers to be used as a teaching tool in a classroom environment,
  23. or as an mastery learning tool for an individual.
  24.  
  25. Its graphical interface introduces students to the compound light
  26. microscope and various other forms of magnifying a specimen -
  27. such as UV, Darkfield, X-Ray, SEM, and TEM microscopes.  This
  28. multimedia lesson ends with a test.
  29.  
  30. This lesson is only one part of a complete compound light
  31. microscope tutorial package called "Scopemaster".  If you like this
  32. lesson, are a teacher or a home schooler, you may be interested in
  33. the complete package which includes:

  35. 1. a virtual microscope that looks and functions exactly like
  36.    a real compound light microscope.  The skills are transferable
  37.    to real microscope.

  60. 1. Download the "Lesson3.zip" file and put it in a directory,
  61.    you may want to create a new directory of your choice.
  62. 2. UNZIP the file "Lesson3.zip" in the directory
  63. 3. Run the file "Lesson3.exe"
