  1. The Disney Collection Screen Saver

  3. If you chose not to have the installer automatically edit your system.ini,
  4. win.ini and autoexec.bat files, or if those files have been changed by another
  5. installation program, follow these instructions to edit the files (in the
  6. instructions below AFTERDARKDIR refers to the directory where After Dark is 
  7. installed, typically c:\afterdrk):

  9. 1. Edit the win.ini file in your Windows directory. Change the load line to say
  10.  
  11.     load=AFTERDARKDIR\ad.exe AFTERDARKDIR\adinit.exe
  12.  
  13.    If there are other applications in the load line, put the two entries
  14.    shown above after everything else. For example, if you are running
  15.    Norton Desktop, your load line after adding the After Dark entries might
  16.    look like

  18.     load=nwpopup.exe navpopup c:\afterdrk\ad.exe c:\afterdrk\adinit.exe

  21. 2. Edit the system.ini file in your Windows directory. Add the line
  22.  
  23.     device=ad.386
  24.  
  25.    to the [386Enh] section of the file.

  28. 3. Make the following line the first line of your autoexec.bat file
  29.  
  30.     @c:\windows\ad_wrap.com

  34. If you move the After Dark directory after installing the screen saver software,
  35. be sure to edit the win.ini file and the ad_prefs.ini file to reflect the
  36. new directory.
