  20. 12.    From the C:\PASTUDIO\TBPRO sub-directory, type LHARC X TBPRO.LZH
  21. 13.    From the C:\PASTUDIO\TBPRO\MODULES sub-directory, type LHARC X     MOD.LZH
  22. 14.    Insert Disk 2 and copy *.* C:\PASTUDIO\SESSION
  23. 15.    From the C:\PASTUDIO\SESSION sub-directory, type LHARC X     MSOFT.LZH
  24. 16.    Insert Disk 3 and copy *.* C:\PASTUDIO
  25. 17.    Insert Disk 4 and type:
  26.     COPY /B C:\PASTUDIO\FB_22K16.DLL + A:\FB_22K16.DLL C:\PASTUDIO\FB_22K16.DLL
  27. 18.    Insert Disk 5 and copy *.* C:\PASTUDIO\QUICK
  28. 19.    From the C:\PASTUDIO\QUICK sub-directory, type LHARC X STUDIO.LZH
  29. 20.    Add ";C:\PASTUDIO" to the end of your PATH line in AUTOEXEC.BAT
  30. 21.    Add the following to your CONFIG.SYS:
  31.     DEVICE=C:\PASTUDIO\MVSOUND.SYS D:3 Q:7 S:1,220,1,5 M:0 J:1 T:1 W:0
  32.                         ('J:0' can be used to disable joystick)
  33.                         ('M:0' turns MPU401 emulation off)
  34.                         (D:x=DMA channel, Q:x=IRQ)
  35. 22.    If you have a CD-ROM attached to the Pas Studio, add the following  line to     your CONFIG.SYS
  36.     DEVICE=C:\PASTUDIO\TSLCDR.SYS /D:MVCD001 
  37. 23.    If you have a CD-ROM attached to the Pas Studio, add the following line to your     AUTOEXEC.BAT file: 
  38.     C:\PASTUDIO\MSCDEX.EXE /D:MVCD001 /M:10 /V /L:x
  39.         (X=CD-ROM drive letter)

  41. Note Gateway/Micronics users:
  42. Set the "Sound Blaster" IRQ (the "5" after "S:1", above) to 2.  If you have a VL(Local) bus, use D:5 Q:10 for the Pas Studio configuration.

  45. The ONLY low-order IRQ available on your system is IRQ 5. This is used for "Sound Blaster". You must select a high-order IRQ (Q:10, 11, 12, or 15) for the ProAudio side of the card.

  52. 1.    Edit WINDOWS\SYSTEM.INI. In the [386Enh] group, place a semicolon (;) in     front of the following lines, if they exist:
  53.         device=vsbd.386
  54.         device=vadlib.386
  55.         device=vsbpro.386
  56. 2.    ADD the following to the [386Enh] group:
  57.         device=vpasd.386
  58.         DMABufferSize=064
  59. 3.    In the [MCI] group, ADD
  60.         mixer=mcimixer.drv
  61.         CDAudio=mcicda.drv
  62. 4.    In the [DRIVERS] group, ADD
  63.         wave=mvproaud.drv
  64.         aux=mvproaud.drv
  65.         midi=sapi!opl.drv
  66.         midi1=mvproaud.drv
  67.         mixer=mvmixer.drv
  68. 5.    ADD the following new groups:
  69.     [Multimedia.Setup]
  70.     audio=mvproaud.drv,0,0,0
  71.     [mvproaud.drv]
  72.     dma=x
  73.     irq=x     (the Windows DMA and IRQ should match the "Q:X" in the                 MVSOUND line in CONFIG.SYS)
  74. 6.    Start Windows
  75.     Create the following Groups.  This is done by clicking on:
  76.     File - New - Group - Description = MultiMedia Tools
  77.     File - New - Group - Description = Monolog 16
  78.     File - New - Group - Description = Quick Tour
  79.     File - New - Group - Description = MidiSoft

  81.  7.    Open the MultiMedia Tools Group and create the following items.  This done by     clicking on:  File - New - Program Item.  You will be creating the following:

  89. 8.    Open the Monolog 16 group and create the following items under File - New -     Program Item.
