22. If you have a CD-ROM attached to the Pas Studio, add the following line to your CONFIG.SYS

23. If you have a CD-ROM attached to the Pas Studio, add the following line to your AUTOEXEC.BAT file:
C:\PASTUDIO\MSCDEX.EXE /D:MVCD001 /M:10 /V /L:x
(X=CD-ROM drive letter)
Note Gateway/Micronics users:
Set the "Sound Blaster" IRQ (the "5" after "S:1", above) to 2. If you have a VL(Local) bus, use D:5 Q:10 for the Pas Studio configuration.
Packard Bell
The ONLY low-order IRQ available on your system is IRQ 5. This is used for "Sound Blaster". You must select a high-order IRQ (Q:10, 11, 12, or 15) for the ProAudio side of the card.
1. Edit WINDOWS\SYSTEM.INI. In the [386Enh] group, place a semicolon (;) in front of the following lines, if they exist:
device=vsbd.386
device=vadlib.386
device=vsbpro.386
2. ADD the following to the [386Enh] group:
device=vpasd.386
DMABufferSize=064
3. In the [MCI] group, ADD
mixer=mcimixer.drv
CDAudio=mcicda.drv
4. In the [DRIVERS] group, ADD

aux=mvproaud.drv
midi=sapi!opl.drv
midi1=mvproaud.drv
mixer=mvmixer.drv
5. ADD the following new groups:
[Multimedia.Setup]
audio=mvproaud.drv,0,0,0
[mvproaud.drv]
dma=x
irq=x (the Windows DMA and IRQ should match the "Q:X" in the MVSOUND line in CONFIG.SYS)
6. Start Windows
Create the following Groups. This is done by clicking on:
File - New - Group - Description = MultiMedia Tools
File - New - Group - Description = Monolog 16
File - New - Group - Description = Quick Tour
File - New - Group - Description = MidiSoft
7. Open the MultiMedia Tools Group and create the following items. This done by clicking on: File - New - Program Item. You will be creating the following:
Description Command Line Working Directory
Pocket Recorder C:\PASTUDIO\PREC.EXE C:\WINDOWS
Pocket Mixer C:\PASTUDIO\PMIX.EXE C:\WINDOWS
Pocket CD C:\PASTUDIO\PKCD.EXE C:\WINDOWS
Pro Mixer C:\PASTUDIO\PROMIX.EXE C:\WINDOWS
8. Open the Monolog 16 group and create the following items under File - New - Program Item.
