  1. The lunar image was produced by

  3.  gforge -pow 1 -craters 1.5 2 -m 200 -type pg8 -seed 837421
  4.  
  5. and then using ImageMagick 3.6.3 to "emboss" the texture, and xv 3.1 
  6. to crop off the resulting two-pixel border so the texture is still
  7. (almost) tilable.
