  8. It has been decided by H.M. Government to scrap the Community Charge;
  9. Head Tax will now replace it.
  10.  
  11. You should weigh your head immediately.
  12.  
  13. To do this you must lie down and let your neck go limp.   Now place your
  14. head on the bathroom scales and enter your head weight in the box below,
  15. along with your name and address etc.

  25. The average head weighs 12 pounds and it has been agreed to tax the head at
  26. 50 pounds for every pound it weighs, i.e. a sixteen pound head will be
  27. taxed at 800 pounds a year.

  29. If you are on low income and you have a heavy head, you may be entitled to
  30. Head Relief.   The forms are available from the DHSS (Form HR2) on request.
  31. NOTE:-  Claims will only be considered if your head exceeds 30 pounds!

  33. This form must be handed to your local DHSS Office when completed, so that
  34. an appointment can be made with an official Head Weigher, who will call at
  35. your current residence and weigh your head.
