BIMOD.EXE version .3
Key_Board BBS
(602)846-2940
Bimod is a simple interface for your communications programs and
Bimodem protocol. I have tested it with Telix 3.1 and Procom Plus.
I have never found any problems running from Telix but sometimes
Procom's screen input stops and Procomm must be restarted.
It also works well stand alone from Dos provided there is a conn-
ection and Bimodem has been invoked on the other end. Bimod will
use very little memory and should be compatible with any comm
program which can use an external protocol. Boyan-D3 wants to
send additional information when calling an external, so Bimod
does not yet work with Boyan.
Bimod1.exe and Bimod2.exe are to be used with com1 and com2 respectivly.
Commands:
The options are explained from the H)elp menu.
Installation:
For Telix & Procom simply add the name bimod1 or bimod2
which ever the case may be to the external protocol menu. Put your
Bimodem files all into the same directory and follow the setup
information accompanying Bimodem.com. I just put everything in the
default directory for ease. Make sure you run Bimodem's set up
configuration so it knows where to up/download from.
Also Bimodem does not need the file name from the comm program so
remember to answer no when configuring your comm prog.
Bimodem /I/C bimodem.cf1
or .cf2
Or run BiSetup...
Enjoy the Bimodem protocol and remember:
Your favorite BBS is what you make it...
