  12. Kaleidopee is an award-winning, mind-stretching brew of visual enchantment,
  13. deep music, and play. Some parts are twitch, some parts think. Through it all,
  14. you eat and grow. One big restaurant, Alice. You might just find that growing
  15. in this Wonderland poses some... challenges.

  17. This mental isometric excercise comes to you courtesy of The Article 19 Group

  25. Please note that Kaleidopee is not a free product.
  26.  
  27. Kaleidopee is distributed as shareware. You are permitted to use it on a trial
  28. basis for up to 30 days from the date of receipt. If you wish to continue
  29. using Kaleidopee beyond that period, you are expected to pay a registration
  30. fee of $15 US to obtain a license to use Kaleidopee. Please note that
  31. unregistered copies of Kaleidopee have a maximum score of 30, but are
  32. otherwise fully functional. Instructions for how to purchase and register
  33. Kaleidopee are included below in a section entitled "How To Purchase And
  34. Register Kaleidopee".

  36. After we have processed your registration, we will send you a license code
  37. that you enter to complete the registration process. This removes the shareware
  38. notices and the maximum score limit, and personalizes your copy of Kaleidopee.

  73. OBJECTIVE
  74.  
  75. The objective of Kaleidopee is deceptively simple: Grow. To grow you need to eat.
  76. Every time you eat a food pellet (the flashing circular object) you get a point
  77. and you get longer. Seems simple enough except you have one major constraint:
  78. DON'T HIT ANYTHING! And we do mean anything. Not a wall. Not another snake.
  79. Not even yourself. No problem when your body is 10 or 12 units long ...BUT...
  80. see how easy it is when you're 100 units long...

  82. MOVEMENT

  84. Use the "Controls" feature in the game to access the Control configuration screen.
  85. Here you can select the keys you will use to move Kaleidopee around the play area.
  86. You can select any key from "a" to "z", or any of the four arrow keys (the keypad
  87. is not supported).

  89. VOLUME

  91. Use the number keys on your keyboard to control volume. 1 is low, 7 is high, 0 is mute.

  93. OTHER CONTROLS

  95. * Typing a "p" pauses the game. Typing "p" again unpauses the game.
  96. * Typing an "r" or hitting the space bar aborts a game and returns you to the Main Menu.

  100. How To Purchase And Register Kaleidopee

  103. (1) Open the REGISTER application by double-clicking on its icon. You will see a window
  104. entitled "Register".
  105.  
  106. (2) Fill in your name, mailing address (optional), and email address (optional) in the
  107. appropriate boxes.
  108.  
  109. (3) Fill in the number of copies you wish to purchase in the "Single User" box. Each
  110. copy costs $15 US.
  111.  
  112. (4) Choose your payment method from the pop-up menu labeled "Method:"
  113.  
  114. (5) Send in you payment to our distributor Kagi Shareware by following the directions in
  115. the "Payment Details" box, or consult the "About Kagi Shareware" section below.
  116.  
  117. (6) After your registration has been processed you will be sent a License Code which you
  118. will use to register Kaleidopee.
  119.  
  120. (7) When you run Kaleidopee you will be prompted to register the application. Click on
  121. the "Register" button and enter your name and License Code in the appropriate spaces.
  122. Click on the "Save" button when you have finished entering the information to complete
  123. the registration process.

  127. ABOUT KAGI SHAREWARE

  130. Kagi Shareware handles all of our payment processing.
  131.  
  132. If paying with Credit Card or First Virtual, you can email or fax the data to Kagi. Their
  133. email address is sales@kagi.com and their fax number is +1 510 652-6589. You can either
  134. Copy the data from REGISTER and paste into the body of an email message or you can Save
  135. the data to a file and you can attach that file to an email message. There is no need to
  136. compress the data file, it's already pretty small. If you have a fax modem, just Print the
  137. data to the Kagi fax number.

  139. Payments sent via email are processed within 3 to 4 days. You will receive an email
  140. acknowledgement when it is processed. Payments sent via fax take up to 10 days and if you
  141. provide a correct internet email address you will receive an email acknowledgement.

  143. If you are paying with Cash or USD Check you should print the data using the REGISTER
  144. application and send it to the address shown on the form, which is:
