  1. June 11, 1944, was a "Black Day" for the Canadian army at Normandy.  Losses sustained
  2. in this one day battle equalled roughly one-third of their entire losses for the European
  3. campaign, 1944-45.  The scenario covers the battle for the french town of le Mesnil-Patry.
