  15. DESCRIPTION
  16. Cookie is a type of what could only be described as a
  17. shoot-em-up.  The object of the game is to mix ingredients to
  18. bake a cake.

  20. INSTRUCTION
  21. Move Charlie the Chef around the screen throwing bags of flour
  22. at the ingredients in an attempt to knock them into your mixing
  23. bowl at the bottom of the screen. Avoid knocking nuts and bolts
  24. e.t.c in the bowl as the number of ingredients you have to place
  25. in the bowl before you can move to the next level will increase.

  32. KEYBOARD CONTROLS
  33. LEFT Charlie will move left by using the 'Q' key.
  34. RIGHT Charlie will move right by using the 'W' key.
  35. DOWN Charlie will move down by using the 'E' key.
  36. UP Charlie will move up by using the 'R' key.
  37. FIRE Charlie will throw flour bags when the 'T' key is pressed.
  38. PAUSE the game by using the CAP SHIFT key.

  41. COOKIE can be controlled using either Kempston or Protek/ cursor
  42. controlled joysticks by selecting the correct mode.

  47. Although Charlie the Chef was a great little character with bags
  48. of personality he never appeared in any other games.

  52. Charlie the Chef, keeps all the ingredients locked away in the
  53. pantry, only letting them out when he wants to cook them!  Now
  54. this makes them jolly uspset, let me tell you.  So! As soon as
  55. they can, the ingredients dash out of the pantry dragging all
  56. sorts of nasties, found in the bottom of drawers and cupboards,
  57. with them, to escape and run wild.  Poor old Charlie! he has to
  58. daze the ingredients with his flour bombs and knock them into the
  59. mixing bowl, because if they go into the dustbins they will be
  60. eaten by the bin monster, who doesn't care one little bit where
  61. he throws any of his rubbish.  Should any rubbish or nasties get
  62. into the cake mix then the "ingredients needed" counter will
  63. change, and Charlie will have to work quicker and faster, if he's
  64. going to bake his cake.

  84. at the small price of 5.95. The other games released then were

  90. after they moved away from the amusement machine designing,
  91. deciding there was no money to be made in it.  Hypocrites!
