  1. THE SECRET OF LITTLE HOODCOME

  3. Climb the vines round the front door to find a rusty nail. With the nail
  4. you can scrape away the loam between the stones of the well to prise one
  5. loose.
  6. Break the window of the garden shed with the stone. Searching the bench and
  7. pots in the shed will reveal a brass key and a rope. The brass key unlocks
  8. the front door of the cottage.
  9. Search the cabinet in the kitchen to find the back door key
  10. Clear the dust in the forester's hut to find a plank. It is long enough to
  11. lay across the gorge to enable you to cross.
  12. Do not go into the trees until you have the correct objects ie; the rib
  13. and the heart.
  14. Buy some matches in the inn and wait for the vicar to come in. Buy him a
  15. drink and talk to the locals.
  16. Open the casket in the cave, doesn't help game but scores points
  17. Climb the fence to reach the herb garden and climb the drain pipe to get
  18. back into the cottage through the lounge window.
  19. Lift the carpet in the study to find the trapdoor. Make sure you have the
  20. ladder with you before going down. You will need it to get back up.
  21. In the cellar, slide the slab to one side to reveal steps down.
  22. Climb the wall and search the debris on the ledge to find aphial.
  23. Move the clock to enter the secret passage behind it. Push north to get
  24. back up.
  25. Feel around the passage to find the trapdoor down to the crypt.
  26. Feel the wall in the crypt to find a lever, pull it to pass through the
  27. secret door.
  28. Wear the cross as a talisman.
  29. Touch the altar to open a panel and reveal the book. Open the book and read
  30. it for information on Xanos.
  31. Fill the phial with holy water at the font
  32. Examine the grave, a Celtic warrior will appear and tell you to dig if you
  33. have the correct gift. So you must be carrying the mistletoe. Dig to find a
  34. rib.
  35. Move the gargoyle to get back through a secret door into the crypt. Throw
  36. the rope and climb it to get back to the passage
  37. Throw the phail of water at the Winged Guardian
  38. Examine the panels in the dusty room and pull the loose one to find a
  39. pouch. The pouch contains a gold key which will unlock the chest
  40. Get the jar from the chest and break the jar to get the heart of Xanos.
  41. Take the heart to the trees at the top of the hill and pierce it with the
  42. rib. You will be transported back to the front gate of the cottage.
  43. Throw the heart down the well to complete the game.
