RULES
└──────────┘
The object of MORPHELLO is to gain a majority of pieces on the
playing board. The score is kept on the top of the screen.
Opponent pieces may be morphed into your own pieces by "capping"
both ends of a contiguous row of opponent pieces. This row may
be in any 8 directions. Moves that cause the surrounding of
opponent pieces are the only valid moves, and if no valid moves
exist the player's turn is forfeit. The game ends when the board
is full or neither player can make a move.
┌────────────────┐
INSTRUCTIONS
└────────────────┘
From the main menu, set up the game by choosing players. Higher
intelligence levels may require some time to take their turn on
slower computers.
Registered owners of MORPHELLO can select their board from the
available list.
Select 'New' to begin playing.
During the game you can return to the main menu by left-clicking
anywhere off the board. The game can be returned to by clicking
'Resume'.
The 'Save' button can be employed to store a copy of the game on
disk (only one save bank is available). 'Load' will restore the
saved game. 'Quit' returns to DOS.
Inside the game, right-clicking will cause a 90 degree rotation
of all the pieces on the board for improved visibility.
Simply move the mouse to the desired location and click to make
your move.
Moves may not be voluntarily forfeitted; if there are no avaliable
moves, the computer will take another move automatically.
