  1. Welcome to End of Time 2.0!

  3.     End of Time is a simple utility that gives the time, date, amount of free memory, and percentage of free resources.  It will stay on top of other applications on the desktop so you can always know the time and the resources available.  End of Time also has the benefit of letting you close it, exit Windows, exit & restart Windows or reboot your computer.  New to version 2.0 is a configuration program that let's you change what is displayed, where End of Time is displayed, colors used, exit options, and whether or not it resides "on top."

  14. ***** REQUIREMENTS *****

  16.     I wrote End of Time on a 486DX-33 with 4MB RAM, 534MB of hard disk space, and 800x600 resolution.  But since the program is only 31KB itself, I don't think you'll have much to worry about.  Windows 3.1 or above is required, however.

  18. ***** INSTALLATION *****

  20.     Please read the file install.wri or install.txt.

  22. ***** USING END OF TIME *****

  24.     Once loaded, there's nothing to do but glance at it when you want to know the time, date, or available resources.  If, however, you would like to close End of Time or exit Windows in any of three ways, simply click once with the left mouse button anywhere on the End of Time display bar.  A dialog box will appear with up to 6 buttons:

  26.         Configure    Start the Configuration program to set End of Time's parameters

  28.         About        A little information about End of Time

  30.         Close        Closes only End of Time

  32.         Exit        Exits Windows without further confirmation from you

  34.         Restart        Exits Windows, and then restarts it
  35.  
  36.         Reboot        Exits Windows, and then reboots your computer
