MS-5118 & MS-5122 WF73PS2 BIOS Release

1. This BIOS supports the new Cyrix 6x86 CPU.
2. This BIOS supports the MS-3805 NCR 810 PCI SCSI Controller.
3. This BIOS supports PS/2 mouse.
NOTE:
This BIOS is a Plug 'n Play BIOS and should be programmed into SST or
Winbond Flash Memory. If this BIOS is not programmed into SST or Winbond,
there will be a problem with Windows 95 RESTART function.
How to use the AWDFL301.EXE Utility
-----------------------------------
This utility is used to program a new BIOS into a Flash memory. You have to
make sure first that the BIOS installed in your mainboard is Flash memory,
and not EPROM.
1. Turn on your computer.
2. Boot up clean, bypassing your AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS files.
3. Then, run the AWDFLASH.EXE file.
C:\>AWDFL301
The programming screen will be shown. You will prompt to enter the file
name:
File name to program: WF73PS2.BIN
At the bottom of the screen, the following message will appear:
Do you want to save BIOS (Y/N)?
Press "N" if you do not want to save the old BIOS.
Press "Y" if you want to save the old BIOS. Enter file name to save.
File name to save: __________
After saving the old BIOS, the following message will appear at the
bottom of the screen:
Are you sure to program (Y/N)?
Press "N" if you do not want to program the new BIOS.
Press "Y" if you want to continue programming the new BIOS. The new BIOS
will then be programmed. When it has finished programming, the following
message will appear:
Flash EPROM Program Successful.
You have successfully programmed the new BIOS.
