  17. <p>     He is one of filmdom's finest comic actors. Come to think
  18. of it, so is she. But while Steve Martin's 1991 hits-blitz
  19. (L.A. Story, Father of the Bride, Grand Canyon) has given him
  20. ample opportunity to stop and smell the grosses, Goldie Hawn had
  21. to overcome appearances in the decidedly unthrilling thriller
  22. Deceived and the romance/comedy/adventure Bird on a Wire--the
  23. bird in question turning out to be the one that gobbles. Now
  24. Hawn hopes to bring down the house with Housesitter, in which
  25. she plays a con artist who commandeers the home--and
  26. ultimately the life--of architect Martin. Producer Brian
  27. Grazer calls it "a funny Fatal Attraction."
