- <p> On a brisk autumn day last week, Jacqueline Onassis, 60,
- walked along a sunlit street on Manhattan's Upper East Side with
- three close family members. The outing was a somber occasion:
- they were coming from a memorial service that marked the
- anniversary of President John F. Kennedy's assassination 26
- years ago. Joining her were Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg, who
- was only five years old when her father was killed, and
- son-in-law Edwin Schlossberg. And bundled up against the
- pre-Thanksgiving chill was Jackie's grandchild Rose, 1 1/2.
