  24.                UNINSTALL METHODS FOR WINRAMTURBO
  25.  
  26. To remove the WinRamTurbo from your computer, use one of these:
  27.  
  28.  1. Use the AUTOMATED uninstall program that comes with WinRamTurbo.
  29.  2. Use the STANDARD Windows Add/Remove Programs found under Windows
  30.     Control Panel.
  31.  3. Use the MANUAL uninstall procedures listed below.

  34.         TO MANUALLY REMOVE INSTALLED WINRAMTURBO PRODUCTS
  35.  
  36. WinRamTurbo products can be manually uninstalled for whatever reason.
  37. In these procedures, we are using C: drive as the drive where Windows
  38. is installed, of course, if you use a different drive, you must adjust
  39. your paths accordingly!
  40.  
  41. These procedures apply to the latest versions of WinRamTurbo. If
  42. you are still using an older version, you will have to substitute
  43. your older version number for the version numbers used here!
  44.  
  45. It is assumed that you have some basic knowledge of Windows
  46. so you can accomplish minor tasks without detailed instructions
  47. from us!
  48.  
  49. All DLLs, graphics and operating files are maintained within
  50. the same directory where the WinRamTurbo product is installed.
  51. (The only exception is for the PRO, which places an OCX file,
  52. as indicated below, into the Windows System directory.)
  53.  
  54. It is recommended to backup your registry (System.dat and User.dat)
  55. if you plan to delete any WinRamTurbo entries in the registry.
  56. If you don't know what the registry is or what you are doing,
  57. please do not attempt this. If you make a mistake in the registry,
  58. you may have to reinstall Windows! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
  59.  
  60. If you leave the WinRamTurbo registry entries "as is", it will NOT
  61. create a problem for you or hurt anything!

  63. x.x below represents the version of the product your are uninstalling.

  67. 1. WinRamTurbo XP, PRO Manual Uninstall

  70. Delete the entire XP or PRO directory - C:\Program Files\WinRamTurbo Pro x.x
  71. Delete the OCX file at - C:\Windows\System\wrtl.ocx
  72.  
  73. Right Click Start button in the lower left corner of the desktop.
  74. Select Open and Click on it.
  75. Double Click the Programs folder.
  76. Delete the WinRamTurbo Pro x.x folder.
  77.  
  78. Delete all XP or PRO shortcuts from the desktop.
  79.  
  80. Use the next step at your own risk!
  81. Some Power Users may prefer to use a different registry editor!
  82. Power Users can delete entries within the registry if they know what they
  83. are doing by using REGEDIT.EXE that comes with Windows and search for string -
  84.   WinRamTurbo

  88. 2. WinRamTurbo LITE Manual Uninstall

  90. Delete the entire LITE directory - C:\Program Files\WinRamTurbo Lite x.x
  91.  
  92. Right Click Start button in the lower left corner of the desktop.
  93. Select Open and Click on it.
  94. Double Click the Programs folder.
  95. Delete the WinRamTurbo Lite x.x folder.

  97. Delete all LITE shortcuts from the desktop.

  99. Use the next step at your own risk!
  100. Some Power Users may prefer to use a different registry editor!
